Accessibility statement
Pathwise Law PLLC intends this site to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or captions. This statement records where we stand and how to reach us if something does not work.
Standard we aim for
We are working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That standard covers contrast, keyboard access, text alternatives, focus visibility, and predictable structure.
Current status
The site substantially conforms to WCAG 2.2 AA. We test with keyboard-only navigation, with a screen reader, and at 200 percent zoom, and we check color contrast against the AA thresholds.
Known gaps: some embedded third-party tools, including our scheduling and client-portal providers, are not fully under our control and may not meet the same standard.
What we have done
Visible focus rings on every interactive element, a skip link to the main content, text that reflows without horizontal scrolling on small screens, headings in a meaningful order, and no information conveyed by color alone.
Every target meets the WCAG 2.2 AA minimum of 24 by 24 pixels, and primary controls — buttons, form fields, and navigation — are at least 44 pixels tall. Dense secondary lists, such as the footer link columns, sit between those two figures.
Motion is limited and respects the operating system's reduced-motion setting.
If something is not accessible
Email hello@pathwise.law or call (844) PATHWISE and tell us the page and what happened. We treat accessibility reports as priority issues and will acknowledge yours within two business days.
If a document or form on this site is not usable for you, we will provide the same information in another format — large print, plain text, or over the phone — at no cost.
Ongoing work
We review accessibility whenever we ship a substantive change to the site, and we re-test the whole site annually. This statement is updated at the same time.
